How Can I Resist Temptation When It Tastes So Good?
Since it is the week of Thanksgiving I thought I would keep this post fairly simple by mentioning a difficult topic.
Temptation
5 Proven Methods to Avoid Temptation
- Don’t smell the Marshmallow!
- Don’t lick the Marshmallow!
- Don’t sit directly in front of the Marshmallow!
- Don’t touch the Marshmallow!
- Sit with your back to the Marshmallow!
Folly is an unruly woman; she is simple and knows nothing. What a great video. I've been there, staring at the marshmallow. In Canada we celebrated our Thanksgiving last month. We had a great celebration at home with a couple of our siblings. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
I think 2 out of the 3 responses have been people who live in Canada.
I wonder if Canadians get the Parade with Santa Claus at the end?

Good advice, David. It has amazed me as I've learned too that a little compromise today that's "no big deal" ultimately leads to another compromise in the future and so on until there's a big blow-out. I'm thankful that God will show us these patterns and we don't have to succumb to the pressures of temptations.
Thanksgiving: staying home and meeting up with family. I'm so excited to spend the time and relax. It's going to be great!

You make temptation sound like car maintenance. If we let things slide on our car then one day we find ourselves on the side of the rode with a blown out tire
