How to Form a Biblical Worldview

Step One: Read your Bible daily.

If you desire to have a biblical worldview but fail to do step number one then you are going to find that the world will bombard you with their worldview.

Here is an awesome Bible reading plan that will get you started: Prof. Horner’s Bible Reading Plan

Step Two: Meditate on Scripture.

I find that reading the Bible daily really helps me stay motivated to want to listen to God.  In order to take it one step further we must mediate on Scripture.

When I run across something that I read from the Bible that I really want to focus on I will write it down on a scratch piece of paper and carry it with me throughout the day.

Several times a day I will pull the paper from my pocket, read the scripture and ask God to help me to follow His word.

Step Three: Pray for godly wisdom.

Before, during and after Bible reading/mediating we must ask God to grant us His wisdom in our daily choices.  Ask Him to help us change our minds and not to agree with the world around us on how we should live our life.

3 Simple Steps

These 3 steps are easy enough to do but they must become a habit if we hope to form a Biblical worldview.  I encourage you to stick with it and before long you will desire God’s will and you will be happy to please Him.
